Kimberly Watts Hoggatt, JD, MA, LPC-S is a Neuro-Spicy, Gifted counselor, serving clients in-person in San Antonio and virtually throughout Texas. She wears many hats as a counselor, educator, supervisor, speaker, entrepreneur, and soon to be author of a Guide for Gifted Gals. She loves working with weary weirdos and anti-heroes a.k.a. high-achieving, nerdy, wonderfully weird folx struggling with burnout, identity, and existential angst. Her practice, Divergence Counseling, is neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ affirming. She challenges clients’ beliefs about themselves, helping them find their own weird way with kindness, compassion, and an irreverent sense of humor.

Crystal O’Neal, is a licensed professional counselor, her experience is largely in private practice settings working with children, teens, adults, relationships, & families. She is the founder & owner of a small boutique private practice, Aloe Vera Counseling, PLLC located in the Northwest Side of San Antonio near the Medical Center. She is a graduate of Columbia College, the University of Texas at San Antonio, & the University of the Southwest, & currently attends St. Mary’s University, where she is a student in the doctoral program for Counselor Education & Supervision. Through her studies & practice Crystal is working to develop a theoretical approach & technique, which she hopes to present & publish on.
Crystal desires to create a holistic space where her clients can feel safe, secure, heard, & understood. As a person-centered psychotherapist, she is passionate about creating a highly tailored treatment plan utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches. When appropriate, to best aid her clients, Crystal partners with medication, the school system, & the court systems.
Often, it can be difficult to see the forest for the trees, to see the big picture. This is where therapy can step in, to aid in discovering the source of a situation, help clear the woods to alight pathways & build bridges.
Marcus Kavanaugh

Marcus Kavanaugh
Marcus Kavanaugh is the Mental Health Education Coordinator for the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness (SACADA) and the Prevention Resource Center (PRC). He is a nationally trained instructor in Adult Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid, as well as a certified instructor in suicide prevention through the Question, Persuade,Refer (QPR) program. For over three years, he has been providing mental health and suicide prevention training throughout the Region 8 catchment area.
His primary responsibility is to deliver in-person, evidence-based mental health awareness training to community members and first responders. This training focuses on how to appropriately and safely respond to individuals with mental disorders, particularly those with Serious MentalIllness (SMI) and/or Severe Emotional Disturbances (SED). He also helps participants identify relevant resources and make appropriate referrals to available services in the community for these individuals.
